Brief comment on Khalid’s proposal
The newly elected Selangor MB, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim stirred up a heated debate when he proposed to collect RM9 monthly from all migrant workers in the state. He claimed that the fund was aimed at setting up a fund to help provide re-training for local unemployed youths so they could land better jobs.
